Synchronicity is built on a simple premise: your moments are private. This policy explains exactly what the app does with your data — and what it never does.

What stays on your device

All journal entries you create in Synchronicity — including text, tags, dates, and intensity ratings — are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device. No server receives it. No backup is created by us.

Synchronicity requires no account. There is no sync, no cloud storage, and no access to your journal by anyone other than you.

What data we collect

None. Synchronicity collects no personal data, no usage data, no analytics, and no diagnostic information. Apple's privacy label for this app reflects this: Data Not Collected.

Analytics and tracking

Synchronicity contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no crash reporting services. We do not track you across apps or websites. We do not sell your data.

Purchases

The app includes an optional $1.99 tip. All payment processing is handled by Apple via StoreKit. We never see or store your payment information. When a purchase is completed, Apple provides a transaction receipt to confirm it. No account is created, and no personal information changes hands.

Children

Synchronicity is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page.
